Not enough real friends? Hire fake ones!
Need to impress your fiance at your wedding? Make sure you have a crowd at a party? Or just want to grab coffee with someone? Now you can hire a fake friend -- or two, or three or more -- to be your BFF.Tha Japanese company that's offering this service says that the recession is also attracting customers who want to hire fake bosses and colleagues to convince others they're employed.
For about $200 US, you even can hire someone -- or a crowd -- to show up at a funeral.
I am not making this up. And the company says business is booming:
I'm still mulling whether this is a genius idea, or just plain sad.
